- Scene 1: Sandy banging on Marisol's door and threatening to shoot her when she is looking for a neighbor, Matthew.
- Scene 5: The Man with Ice Cream at Marisol's science book copy-writing office when he should be at a film company.
- Top of Act 2: The Woman with Furs should be at Les Miserables but she is lost on the street in the Bronx instead.
There are constant dichotomies of space and existence:
- Sociality and Spatiality: "Marisol: I lived in the Bronx...I commuted light years to this other planet called - Manhattan!"(43)
- Act One (Order) and Act Two (Disorder)
